Erika "Bear" Banwell ~ CMT, NMT, CSMT, ESMT

Erika graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1998, specializing in Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular & Clinical Sports Massage modalities.

 

Just out of massage school, she began working with touring musical artists as a massage therapist backstage, warming up and cooling down the talent and crew members. In 1999, she was offered a gig to go on the road. From 1999-2014 she toured as a production specialist. Her job varied from tour to tour. In addition to massage therapy, she filled roles in wardrobe, band assistance, personal assistance, production coordination, tour management, and dressing room decoration. In between tours, Erika worked with the WWE, massaging the wrestlers before and after matches. 

She continued working with the WWE until the pandemic.

 

Erika’s experiences with these hard-working individuals gave her new insight into how she wanted to educate and show up with her healing skills. Over the decades, she has developed her own unique style and healing abilities, allowing her to sense the individual needs of each client and to adapt the treatment to best serve every body, mind, and soul. 

Erika utilizes cupping, The Graston Technique, and tuning forks during each massage to enhance the healing process. 

 

Following her spiritual path, Erika became a Level 2 Usui Reiki Practitioner and discovered she is also a Channeler.

Not only does she channel beings who have passed, but she is also able to communicate with living beings, in person, and at a distance.

Erika is clairvoyant, clairaudient, clairsentient, and claircognizant. This means she can see, hear, sense, and just know psychic knowledge. She enjoys assisting in one's path through intuitive readings, the use of crystals, and pendulum dowsing.

 

Erika continues to learn and to expand her practice.
